Welcome new families!

Enroll for the 26/27 school year. 

Please provide electronically or in person the following:

• A copy of a student's original birth certificate,
• Current immunizations
• Proof of residency. (something that pertains to the house, i.e. utility bill,  rental agreement, mortgage, etc.) 

• If you do not live in our school’s boundary and want to attend, you must submit an Open Enrollment Application for 2026/2027 School Year

Dear Parents and Athletes,

We are excited to announce that our winter sports season is fast approaching! Wrestling and Girls Basketball will begin on October 5th, and we are including Boys Basketball information as well so families can prepare for the January start date.

After careful consideration and conversations with our building administration team, we have finalized our practice schedule for the season:

7th Grade Girls Basketball: 5:45 AM to 7:15 AM 8th Grade Girls Basketball: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Girls practice daily except on game days or non-school days)

Wrestling: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Wrestling practices daily except on match days or non-school days)

7th Grade Boys Basketball: 5:45 AM to 7:15 AM 8th Grade Boys Basketball: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Boys practice daily except on game days or non-school days)

We look forward to a successful season and appreciate your support of our student-athletes!

In an effort of in lining with KHS please be sure to create your Athletes Rank One account and if you need to do paperwork it can be uploaded into the portal for them there.  Here is the Tutorial link:

Please be sure if your Student/Athlete is a first time participant here at FMS the complete the following items before October 5th.

FMS Concussion Form

Athlete Code of Conduct (only if they did not play a fall sport)

Our FMS Parent Meeting for GBB & Wrestling will be October 8th @ 5:15pm in the gym.  Please plan to attend as important information will be given about the seasons. 

Tryouts/Practices begin on October 5th so please make sure your athlete does not miss practices that week as it could affect what team they are put on for the season.

Engineering classes have a couple of very cool projects coming up. We can use:

- Cardboard (broken down)

- Cotton balls

- Styrofoam or foam pieces

- Bubble wrap

- Old hairdryers (still functional)

- Oven mitts 

- Scales 

- Thermometers

No worries if you don't, but send it our way before you send it to Goodwill or toss it. They will do these same projects next semester as well, so if you come across an old hairdryer in the back of your cabinet in February, still send it our way.
